A09 – Landscaping RFQ

You must register as a plan holder for this Project in order to ensure you receive all information and updates related to the Submission Process.

The Port is seeking qualifications from Landscaping contractors. The purpose of the RFQ is that the Port can develop a “short-list” of pre-approved contractors that it can contact when a landscaping project is necessary. The short list will ensure that the Port can complete the Landscaping project in a timely and cost-effective manor. Please refer to the Request for Qualifications Packet for additional information.

The work that will be expected of contractors wishing to submit a Statement of Qualifications are as follows:

  • Projects are expected to have a budget of approximately $5,000 to $70,000;
  • Projects will range between installing plants around office or residential complexes and approximately 2,000 SF to managing the area around large commercial warehouses or industrial sites of approximately 5 acres;
  • Contractors must be able to follow a plan developed by a landscape engineer that is approved by the Owner;
  • In the absence of a approved plan, the Contractor must be able to follow specific guidelines to develop and plan for the Owner approval and them implement it;
  • This project will not include reoccurring grounds maintenance such as lawn mowing or trimming;
  • Projects are not expected to include any “hardscape” items such as earth excavation or the installation of sidewalks, pavement, retaining walls, pools, or decks.

Please click the “Plans & Specifications” tab above for access to the download link for the RFQ documents for this project.
